As a passionate educationist and a father, Bharat finds Waldorf philosophy as a meaningful approach to foster and bring forth the individuality of a child by unlocking and preserving their curiosity, imagination and sense of identity. From his experience as an educational leader in higher education, Bharat regards the significance and need for nurturing the true potential of an individual during the early years of learning in order to enable them to be adaptable and open to the rapid pace of change in the world. It is with this belief that he envisions Swechha to pioneer a shift in the educational landscape of Visakhapatnam by introducing parents and children to the freedom of learning.
Having been a Waldorf teacher, Deepti feels that the philosophy and learning approach of Waldorf is empowering for individuals, not only for children but for the adults involved too. She believes that the world needs more visionaries and humanitarians who can think holistically and practically, for which, it is important that children experience true freedom from an early age. From her personal as well as professional experience, Deepti considers that one feels truly free when they are nurtured wholly and the will and effort needed to make a choice is joyful. It is from this thought that her vision for Swechha has taken shape to lead children into feeling empowered in facing any real world challenges and make a meaningful, lasting impact on their community and the world.
With 18 years of educational work experience, Asha believes in the Waldorf principle of social change through education. Being a mother of two lovely girls and an expert in homeschooling, she is convinced with the importance of a harmonious relationship between parents and teachers for holistic development of children. According to her, learning is beyond books and it is the path of knowledge to gain insight and wisdom for everyday life. She trusts that every child at Swechha will grow to be individuals of self-awareness and social competence.
Gayatri is an ardent gardener and has two years of teaching experience. She holds a postgraduate degree in Physics and Bachelor’s in Education. She is fluent in Hindi, Odia, English and Telugu, is an enthusiast of all forms of dance and committed to being environmentally responsible by reusing, reducing and recycling. It is her zeal for teaching and inclination towards scientific thinking that draws her to Waldorf education. As a Kindergarten teacher, Gayatri is motivated to nurture in children the perseverance and virtue of lifelong learning.
Sravani is a trained classical dancer and self-taught portrait artist with two years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and is fluent in Telugu, English and Hindi. She is a voracious reader, content creator and reflective writer, likes to travel and tries her hand at all forms of art and craft. It is her keen eye for capturing emotions and the essence of the world around that embeds within the Waldorf way of learning. As a grade school teacher, Sravani strives to introduce and integrate artistry in all disciplines and cultivate a joy of learning among children.
Safia is a mother of two children and has three years of experience as a preschool teacher in a Montessori school prior to joining Swechha. She holds a post graduate degree in computer applications. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu and finds joy in music, dance, art, craft, hand embroidery and fabric painting. As a Kindergarten teacher, Safia believes that when children are nurtured in a secure environment, it helps them build trust towards the world around them and be more confident.
Joanna is a mother of two children and has three years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and is fluent in English, Telugu. She finds interest in music and sewing. As a grade school teacher, Joanna believes that every child has the potential to learn if they are enabled to explore with freedom. She strives to be an imitation worthy adult for children and create the right environment for their holistic development.
Prathima is passionate about holistic education that nurtures and helps children evolve into sensible human beings. Her passion has driven her to Waldorf philosophy and she believes that education shouldn't be a rote learning process but should inspire individuals to be innovative and competent. She holds a bachelor's degree in Dentistry. She is also a holistic health blogger and a certified yoga teacher. She is fluent in English and Telugu. As a kindergarten teacher, Prathima strives to preserve the child's will, imagination and freedom of self-expression.
Lavanya has around 2 years of experience in the service sector. She holds an MBA in HR and Marketing and PGDM in yoga and consciousness. Prior to joining Swechha, Lavanya worked as a Business Development Executive. She finds interest in crafting, baking and teaches physical, mental yoga in her spare time.
Nandini is a mother of one child with a caring and dynamic nature to meet the children's needs. She actively seeks learning opportunities and finds interest in cooking.
Lakshmi is a mother of two with the calming and pleasant demeanor to care for children. She is persevering and earnest in delivering her duties as well as pursuing learning opportunities.
